JRF vLog – Fad Diets vs. Healthy Lifestyle

  • I get a lot of emails from confused people. They see success stories, ads, marketing for products, services and diets that claim to have these “to good to be true” results. They give you this false hope that there is an easier road to travel. The thing about these things is that every “fad” diet, supplement, and dieting technique out there that is not a sustainable method has a VERY high failure rate (literally 90+% failure). Starving yourself can make the scale move in your desired direction but what is happening behind the scenes will haunt you for years! Many of these extreme techniques are murderous to your metabolism so when you’re done with that diet and start to actually “live” again, the weight will come back, fast, and in many cases take you further away from your goals than when you started. The real change, the true change, the change that brings a lifetime of results is a sustainable approach to fitness and nutrition. This brings on a new “lifestyle” one that IS sustainable and will leave you with a lifetime of happiness.
